Community Awareness of Drugs will be working in-partnership with Ruhama to deliver our Voluntary Training Programme.
Established in 1989, Ruhama is a Dublin-based NGO which works on a national level with women affected by prostitution and other forms of commercial sexual exploitation. The Drugs component of the training is geared towards volunteers assisting women who have experienced substance misuse in their lifetime.
This workshop will celebrate the fourth time that CAD will contribute to the Ruhama Voluntary Training Programme. We are delighted in working with Ruhama to develop a new workshop that will deliver drug related information and focus on motivational and personal development.
‘Drug Awareness and Motivating Change’ Workshop is tailored designed by CAD staff. It incorporates an opportunity for volunteers to update their drug related information, learn about relevant services and develop motivational type skills through the use of contemporary scenarios agreed in advance with Ruhama Volunteer Co-ordinator.
